For small children and their parents. Free time together with other parents and children, playing, talk and discussion on bringing up children, something to bite etc.
ACTION CLUB FOR KIDS: Biblical teaching, playing, games and having fun together.

WHAT IS FREE CHURCH?
Vapaaseurakunta or ’Vapis’ (Evangelical Free Church) is a small Christian local church, and a part of the national Evangelical Free Church of Finland. The meetings, translated into English when needed, include worship music, teaching and prayer in an open and relaxed atmosphere.
OUR VALUES
We share the vision and values of the Evangelical Free Church of Finland. The phrase ”God’s Presence and Transforming Power” is a core crystallization of them. In us and others, God’s good presence brings about connection and belonging, faith, transformation and serving, and then repeats the process again and again (often in this order).
We and a bunch of other Finnish Churches & communities from different denominations partner together in Finnish Church life renewal network called New Wine, a sister network to the original UK one (http://www.new-wine.org). We share the NW values, as well, they reflect the same tone as those of our denomination, emphasizing a broad and balanced overall understanding of the Christian Faith, e.g. both the Word & Spirit, and Natural & Supernatural, etc. See new-wine.org/resource/1507 .
HOW TO GET HERE?
That’s easy. Our meeting place is located close to downtown city centre, at Vartiokatu 14-16.
Just walk the other main street Koskikatu upwards, across the bridge over the highway, passing by the Revontuli mall, and go on until the second crossing after the bridge. There, turn left to Vartiokatu – and your next 25 steps will take you here. So, Welcome!

We hope our natural, laid-back atmosphere offers visitors an opportunity to meet with fellow Christians as well as the Lord Jesus Himself. In addition to English, translation to some other languages like Russian can often be arranged if needed.
